FAQ'S

Where and when is the event located?  Midwest Wingfest will be at St. Clair Square Mall, in the east parking lot behind Dillard’s.  The event is Friday, September 1st from 3p-11p and Saturday, September 2nfrom 12noon-11p.  The 5k Chicken run is Saturday, September 2nd at 7am.

 

Does it cost anything to get in?  The event is free, but There is a $10.00 wristband fee for patrons 21 & over wishing to drink adult beverages.  The wristband comes with two regular size beers or one commemorative cup.  We highly suggest a donation to help keep the event free and to raise money for our charity partner, Climb for PTSD.  They are the reason we are here!

 

If I would like to volunteer, how do I get involved?  First of all, THANK YOU!!  We could not do what we do without amazing people like you!  To volunteer, click on the Volunteer tab and submit your information.  We will contact you as soon as possible.  You can also search our volunteer group on Facebook and request to be added to the group.  We are looking for volunteers at the event and to assist with our steering committee through out the year.

 

Where can I find a schedule of events, including the 5k Run and Wing Eating Contest?  The entire events schedule for the weekend is listed on the Events tab. Participants can sign up for the 5k Run on the website until Wednesday, August 31st.  After August 31st, participants can register at the souvenir booth at the event to sign up.  Check back regularly for updates.

 

Where and when do I pick up my race packet for the 5K? Race packets can be picked up at Toolen’s Running Start in Shiloh.  Please contact Sean for details.

 

Will there be special parking for handicapped or motorcycles?  Yes. Special parking will be located north of the festival footprint.

 

Will you have ATM or credit card access at the event?  Yes, ATM machines will be available within the festival. We are currently not accepting credit cards.

 

Will the event be cancelled if it rains?  Midwest Wingfest is rain or shine. However, organizers reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event in the event of severe weather based on counsel from the police and fire Dept.

No refunds will be given in the event of cancellation.  Party at your own risk.

 

Is this a family friendly event?  Yes, there will be family friendly entertainment all weekend long to include a massive children's area full of bouncy fun and a car cruise Saturday afternoon.
